Caring experienced nanny/babysitter looking to help a family
|
While studying at the University of Exeter, I have worked for a family and looked after two boys, aged 13 and 16. I had worked for the family for two years, my role included; picking them up from school, taking them to their activities, supervising homework, making them a home cooked dinner, light household activities such as, hoovering and ironing. Since I have left university, I have worked in the care and SEN education sector. I have a level 2 in understanding autism, as well as first aid, epilepsy trained, life support trained, medication trained. I care for a young lady with disabilities on a bank basis. I have worked in an eduction setting with young adults with disabilities, helping them find jobs and support them in their studies. Alongside this I often look after my nieces and nephews, with the eldest now being 14 and youngest 2 years, helping support them since birth. I have a very mixed experience and I am looking to move into more childcare Monday- Friday.
