I have looked after children of all ages caring for both my own children and others. My eldest is nearly 16 and I also have a 3 month old, 3 and 4 year old so my age range experience is expansive. I love working with children providing a nurturing environment where they can grow and flourish. | My name is Federica Barbato and I am an OFSTED registered childminder with child-minding agency called Tiney. I am open full time from 8.00 am to 5.30 pm Monday to Friday. My setting is based in a flat on the ground floor. I look after children aged 6 months to 5+ years old. My setting has been set up to encourage adventure, creativity and diversity as well as including elements of my Italian background. My setting also offers various activity and education experiences in accordance with EYFS. This will include children building skills around maths, literacy, arts and crafts and role play. I can provide health snacks and meals upon request. I love taking children out for outdoor activities and I belief that children can learn from the outside world rather than being indoors. Daily trips to parks are guaranteed as well as many other planned trips. My setting incorporates activities based on the Montessori philosophy. It is based on encouraging self-confidence and independence through activities that involve problem solving while developing social and intellectual growth.
