Childminders in Berkhamsted

| Hello there My name's Alexis, I'm a 41 year old mother of 1 son aged almost 9. I've been a registered childminder with ofsted coming up for 2 years now. I've almost 9 years experience raising my child. My background is based in the care facility. I've a vast range to training to my name. I love working with the children, they never fail to make me smile! I drive a 7 seater car with car seats, a double buggy. I live on a very quiet and safe new estate in Sheldon way, Berkhamsted. It's a very picturesque little cul-de-sac. I hold a Whipsnade zoo and car pass and a mead open farm pass, the kids love going to see the animals and it gets them out in the fresh air. I aim to work together in partnership with parents to provide all children in my care with a clean, safe, loving home-like environment where everyone feels valued. I always aim to provide a quality, caring and attentive environment where standards are high, independence can be developed and where there is a wealth of learning opportunities, both structured and flexible to help children achieve their goals and promote their self esteem. I live with my partner and two children aged 10 and 11 in a spacious and airy 4 bedroomed house which has a large living area and garden. I offer a wide range of fun and stimulating toys, books and equipment for all ages and a dedicated playroom. I like to offer a balance between home based activities, play groups and trips to parks, playgrounds, woodland walks etc.I also plan trips out further afield such as museums, farms etc
