| Hi! I am a 21-year-old graphic design and photography student at UCA, who is willing to do part-time job as a nanny, babysitter and childcare. I have always loved to spend time with children as I’ve had so many smaller cousins and family friends who I have looked after for. I am a sporty person, I run marathons, hike, spend time in nature, cycle and read a lot of books. I have an experience of working in Canterbury as a volunteer at SMB Church bumblebees and youth group, (helping out with arts and crafts, playing, cleaning up, supporting families and voluntary team in any need, entertaining children) As well I have worked in a summer camp for 2 years with girls ages 5-16, I have been a tutor, etiquette teacher, dance teacher’s assistant, have helped children to set up an acting play. I am open to different type of obligations, would be interested in teaching or helping with studying. I do have lots of interests around nature, arts, music, hand crafts, sewing, maths. I do like to cook a lot! I have been vegan for a while before, but now I am back to eating everything. That is why I have knowledge of veganism, vegetarianism and as well the regular diet needs, gluten-free.

| Hi there, I'm Charlie. I have an NVQ Level 3 in childcare. I realised about 4 years ago that working with children is what I would really like to do as a career, so this is why I am looking for work in this field. I trained for 2 years as a children's nurse, before deciding that I would like to work in a more personal setting and moving on to nannying. I have worked in 2 nurseries, in one I had my own key children and enjoyed it immensely. I still keep in touch with my key children and feel proud to have been a part of their early years learning. Since starting my childcare course 13 years ago, I have worked in children's wards, schools, nurseries, specialist settings and personal homes. I have worked with children ranging from 5 days old up to 14 years old.

| Hello my name is Ava! I am 20 year’s old, currently living just outside of Canterbury and would like to begin my journey into the world of childcare. I love keeping fit by going for long walks along the seaside or horse riding. So running around after the little ones will be no problem for me! In my free time you will find me crafting, drawing, cooking, baking, painting, reading or journaling. I’m a very clean and organised person, learning a lot of my skills on a 3 - week yachting course I took last spring, training to a 7* service standard. I adore working with children and animals more than anything, so I know that nannying will be the perfect fit for me. I have never found much joy or inspiration by working generic jobs which is again another reason why I would love to work in childcare. I have a basic DBS check, first aid trained and would be happy to have any further checks when requested!

| Hello! My name is Joanna, I am 20 years old and I'm currently a Kent University student. My childcare experience tends to be less formal and more voluntary. I used to help out in church with Sunday school, organizing activities and taking care of the toddlers. I was a babysitter for a lovely 4 year old girl for approximately a year. My job included: finding activities to do with her, feeding and bathing her, putting her to bed. I also have experience as a volunteer taking care of the elderly with dementia. These jobs have taught me the importance of flexibility, creativity, patience and positivity when taking care of others.

| I have been working with kids for a long time in different fields - scout camps, music studio, workshops, as a nanny and the most important thing (in my opinion) is that I have a 5 years old brother with whom I used to play/care a lot before I move in the UK. I think that's the best experience a person can have, because it is an experience of a lifetime. I learned how to make him eat, sleep, have fun, how to bath him, how to change diapers and all of this through the years. The types of work I've been working are different, but are all related to childcare. I've learned that it is important to have a different approach to every kid and actually, this is the most colourful job of all just because of that. I love it. As I've been acting in plays, musicals and workshops, and I've also been playing the piano for 10 years I am often teaching some of the kids (who have interest of course). I am currently a student in the University of Kent, studying Drama and Film and I am looking for a part-time job. I think this is the most suitable thing for me, considering my experience in this area. I would love to continue working with kids now, because the energy you give and receive at the same time can't make you feel tired!

| I am a 3rd-year psychology student at the University of Kent interested in pursuing a career in Children's Mental Health Services. In order to gain some experience and earn some extra money, I am hoping to childmind/babysit part-time. I previously babysat for friends and family. This included me taking up to 3 children out for activities like a day at the park, or swimming, meal-prepping, reading, helping them with homework, and putting them to bed. Ages ranged anywhere from 18 months to 9 years. Two summers ago I also spent four weeks volunteering at a childcare centre in Uganda.
