| I am trustworthy, self motivated, responsible, loving Nanny and Mom’s helper, who has completed childcare training courses provided by the London Learning Consortium. Also I am certified in First Aid. I am a mother of two children. As being a mother it gave me major understanding of baby’s/child’s needs. I have experience of working with families with babies and children aged between 6 month and 10 years. In a past I had opportunity to work as practitioner in the private nursery with children age between 11 months and 3 years. The last my job it was a nanny’s position for a lovely family, where I was taking care of the girl 2years old girl. I am very passionate about my work therefore, I am always doing my best and seeking an opportunity for self improvement, that I could play an active role in supporting babies/children's development and also meet the different needs of families in order fulfill the wishes of adult family members and ensure that the needs of the child/children under my care are met, assuming full responsibility, as this is, in my opinion, the most important part of my job.

I have spent my working life working around children in both primary and secondary schools but have never thought of childcare as a career until now. Most people would expect a childcare provider to be a young woman fresh from college but I believe that my lifetimes experience of bringing up my own children is far more valuable than any paper qualifications. My own children are now 27, 25 and 22 - all are successful young adults with good jobs and excellent career prospects, and are polite, decent independent people who are a credit to my child rearing skills. I know that despite many years working in offices, my true love is looking after children and quite honestly now that mine are grown up I really do miss caring for children, giving them love and affection, reading to them and helping them learn, and helping them learn to grow up.

I am available to work Thursdays and fridays. I need a week notice in advance due to childcare issues.

| I am a first aid qualified nursery teacher working over a year in a Montessori school. I am familiar with theoretical childminding practise and have experience in practice. I speak 4 languages: Portuguese, Spanish, English and Guinean Creole and I am comfortable helping with homework. I am able to drop off and pick up, do light housekeeping and plan activities to do with the children.
