Hi, We are seeking a reliable and creative babysitter with great attention to detail to care for our 2-year-old boy on Tuesdays and Thursdays, the days he doesn’t attend nursery. Schedule Hours: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM I typically finish work at 4:00 PM and should be home by 5:00 PM. His dad works from home in his study most days but occasionally goes to the office. We also have an elderly cat at home who will need feeding 2 to 3 times a day and occasional affection. She mostly sleeps in her pod but may need some attention from time to time. Responsibilities Meal Prep: Prepare and serve breakfast and lunch for our son. While we aim to prep meals in advance, you may occasionally need to serve simple frozen foods (like chips, chicken nuggets, or steamed dumplings). If you’re comfortable introducing new foods, we welcome it—he can be picky but has no food allergies. Outings: Take him to the park, soft play, or museum for engaging and active experiences. At-Home Activities: Plan fun and educational activities to keep him engaged. Our son is active, observant, and learns quickly. Once he masters a skill, he tends not to repeat it, which can make planning activities a bit challenging. We’re open to age-appropriate ideas and happy to support you in planning. Potty Training: He is not potty trained yet, so diaper changing will be required. Minor Housekeeping: Tidy up after activities, wipe up spills, place used dishes in the dishwasher, feed the cat as needed, and clean her litter box if required. Screen Time and Snacks: Moderate screen time and snacks are allowed. What We’re Looking For We’d love someone who is: Detail-Oriented: Attentive to both small tasks and our child’s needs. Respectful: Understanding of and willing to follow our solid routines and parenting approach. Location We are based in Barking Riverside. Additional Information We are happy to reimburse transport fees if you are taking our boy out for activities. Hello. I am a single mum of one daughter, S who will be aged 1 when we welcome you into our home. I am looking for a regular babysitter/ nanny all day on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm (8 hours each day). I am happy to pay up to £11 per hour which will be £1,056 per month (excluding the 15 free hours from the Gov). You will need to be licensed and registered by Ofsted! You will need to invoice me at the start of each month. You must be available to start from Tuesday 21st January.
