Childcare in Ilford

| Growing up the oldest with both my parents working full time jobs, I had to feed, wash and care for my siblings from age 8. By then my parents established that they had no need for a nanny and would leave me with them. This gave me great childcare experience with led to work in a nursery briefly and also childmind for a neighbour of mine with her 2 kids. So you can rest assured your children are in safe hands.

| I have previous experience working within childcare in a nursery. I worked towards providing care for children aged 0-5 years and I have acquired certifications in Food Safety Level 2, Safeguarding Level 2, Prevent Duty and British Values, Female Genital Mutilation, Witchcraft and Manual Handling for Childcare professionals. I also have experience in caregiving, customer service and marketing.

I have lived in Australia all my life with my family. As soon as finishing my Higher School Certificate (HSC) in 2011, I enrolled myself in a Children's Services course with TAFE NSW. 
Upon completing my work experience for this course, I was offered a full time position at a childcare centre. I thoroughly enjoyed my time working here for 2 years upon completing my certificate III in Children’s Services. Later arose the opportunity to come and work with a family in Kent, England as an Au Pair and I couldn’t refuse this wonderful experience. I have been primary carer for 2 girls aged 5 and 8 over the last year. I have really enjoyed my time working with this family. As I’m under a 5 year Ancestry Working Visa, I would like to take the opportunity to continue working in England. I am able to provide written references and documents for my qualifications. Children have always been my passion and feel I've always had a general spirit to care for people. I enjoy taking advantage of new experiences and feel ready to move into something more challenging.

| My name is Kirsty S., I am 26 years of age. I speak English. I am currently a part time nanny to many families, however these are all ad hoc. I have worked with children for 7/8 years working with all ages 0-14 years. I have previously worked in a nursery and preschool setting and have been nannying now for 2 years. I have a qualification in Health & Social Care Level 3 and Childcare Level 3, in addition to this I have various training such as. first aid, safeguarding and food & hygiene and many more. I have a little boy of my own who is 3 years old at my current jobs he usually attends with me, however he attends preschool 3 days a week. I am also very independent as I left my parents home at the age of 17 and had to adapt quickly to living on my own and fending for myself.

I'm very smiley, understanding and enjoy having fun and learning alongside the children. I'm happy to help with homework and tutoring if the children require this. | My passion to work with children came from my nephew a few years ago when he was born. Helping him walk and teaching him to speak was a huge accomplishment for me knowing I am helping him through his early years in preparation for nursery.
