I am Looking for an inspirational teaching Assistants to work at primary school in the Hertfordshire area working full time from 8am - 5pm Monday to Fridays term time only. Looking for SEN teaching assistants to support my child with SEN needs in nursery setting. You will need to have excellent behaviour management skills working under the direction of the class teacher and speak therapist, keeping the child on task, promoting positive peer friendships and social skills, and sometimes taking the child out to work on individual and group interventions. For this role of a SEND Teaching Assistant: • Hold a valid & recognised childcare qualification or equivalent. (Or have long term experience working with SEND) • Be fully dedicated to the role and have a can-do attitude. • Be genuinely committed to enhancing the educational and personal development of the child you are supporting and the rest of the class.

We are looking for a Nanny (or possibly Carer) to help look after our little boy and provide family support in our home. This is focused around our 7-year-old boy who has Special Needs but no ‘medical’ requirements. The right person should have some experience with special needs and wants to help bring the best out of a friendly and lively little boy with lots of potential. Ideally the person would help with personal care, preparing some meals for him, and helping him develop. Experience of working in a family home is essential, and this is a friendly environment to work in which would include light household duties. The person should not live more than 45 mins from Hertford North Station which is a few minutes away. Self employed arrangement initially, potentially moving to an employed position for the longer term. This position is for school holidays only as this boy is at boarding school during term times. Hours of work 8-6:30 Monday to Thursday. Must be energetic, fun loving, sense of humour and above all, know how to entertain a thirteen year old boy during the school holidays with a wide variety of different activities. He has severe speech and language difficulties and some learning disability but does not require any extra physical care. Knowledge of Makaton would be an advantage and a driver with their own car would be ideal. However, the most important quality would be a caring person who knows how to have fun and entertain a thirteen year old! This would suit a teacher, LSA or TA who wants to earn some extra money during school holidays and also has experience working with teenagers with speech and language difficulties.
