I'm a 45 yr old man living in the farncombe area looking for a new carer/pa who is, organized, responsible and able to help me live in the local community… would include, preparing medication, keeping the home clean & tidy, laundry, shopping, personal care accessing the community and help attending appointments and visits to friends and family. Im a disabled, but weight-bearing man so no hoisting is required…. Pay : the hourly rate is the carers living wage set at £11.95p. Petrol is paid monthly and is set by the county council at 45p per mile. I will top this up as i know the current petrol rate wont cover usage… this can be discussed. Please note a driver is essential. Paid holiday is earned on accrue. You are entitled to join the government pension scheme. You will be required to work from 11:30am – 5pm mon – fri. Timings are negotiable. I have an agency covering weekend calls and they would cover holiday when required… you would need to be available to start asap but this is negotiable if required… please note i am a smoker! Hello, we are looking for mature, sensible but fun, family-orientated carers to help with home living support and companionship for our 80 year old father who lives in Godalming, GU7. You should be reliable, calm, efficient (without being overbearing or condescending), have a good sense of humour and a willingness to get stuck in! Seeking cover for 7 days a week (8.30am-7.30pm) while his primary carer is on holiday in May - starting asap. If you can offer all or just some of the days (or even just half days) please get in touch. Hours can be flexible to suit right candidates. Longer term we need an additional carer for Sundays and Mondays. He has low medical needs. The role involves helping him with dressing, showering, some personal hygiene care, mobility support (he uses sticks so needs watching), preparing home-cooked meals, meds prompting, light housework, shopping and taking him on occasional trips to the pub/appointments.
