- helping him onto the commode
- cleaning up afterwards and giving a body wash
- helping him dress, put on hearing aids, brush hair etc
- helping him to do some physio exercises
- helping him to go to have breakfast. This may be by walking with sticks / frame or in his wheelchair.
- cleaning up in his room afterwards. If time hoovering the floor etc.
Evenings - Starting around 7.30pm and taking around an hour.

Dederick has an indwelling catheter fitted and has had several hospital stays over the past couple of years with UTI’s. Hygiene is very important to help avoid repeat infections as well as good fluid intake.
Dederick is currently quite alert and only needs minimum assistance to get up from bed / the commode etc.
He is currently sleeping in a downstairs room with a care bed. We have a MO-LIFT to aid transfer when he is not so able
