Fun, loving and, above all, patient.

My experience was more of a school/centre-base setting. I had worked as an assistant to the instructor therapists at the 2 centres I worked at as part of my student placement. My duties included familiarizing myself with the children by learning how to respond to their behaviour (especially experienced with self injurious behaviour), when to use prompts, implementing their programs, creating skill acquisition programs specific to their needs, providing entertainment, implementing lunch time routines, etc. Also, due to some children being non-verbal, I've been taught the use of PECS. It was always a joy interacting with the children and I wish to continue working with kids with autism, only this time as a baby sitter. I can't wait to hear from you and hopefully, get to know your family.
