Hello! I am looking for someone to care for my son on Tuesday afternoons and Sunday all day. If you are only available for one of those, please still reach out! He can do most tasks himself (bathroom, eating etc), however needs general guidance. He loves to be out and about, Tuesdays this would not be so necessary as he comes home from his day program. However, on Sundays I would love him to be taken to places like the Science Centre, The Zoo, Swimming Pools etc. Therefore, we are looking for someone with their own form of transportation. He is a very gentle and loving young man, and is never violent towards others. However, he sometimes struggles with self-inflicted harm when he is frustrated. We have been working to verbally redirect him when this happens, and it has been getting better. I am looking for someone is patient and can support a child who is non verbal. Child will need potty training services. Must provide a criminal check. Must be able to deal with occasional implusive behaviours if arises. This can be just for twice a month, for a couple of hours for date night. I am looking for someone who will be a part of my child's life for along time and possibly be able to do overnights or even a full week of respite incase we decide to go on a vacation etc. Rate is negotiable. Also ABA experience will be an asset and will definitely increase the price if that is provided.
