Looking for a Part-Time Respite Worker who has experience in the field of Developmental Disabilities, specifically Downs Syndrome and ASD and to assist with life skills. Support is for 2 young loveable males who are brothers that are 23 and 28 years old. Worker is required to support them in the community (walks to park, mall, community centre) and to help in the home (remind to use the washroom and assist, cut up food for meals, administer meds, daily routines, etc.) They both enjoy books, music, dancing, going to the park, watching tv, playing on their tablet and riding their bikes. Flexible hours: Any afternoons, evenings Monday to Friday, mornings on Fridays and maybe an occasional weekend.

Be at my hone for 230 to meet toddler's school bus at 245 and asd child at 345. Im in school until 430 so will be home by 530. Both boys. 7.5 year old is asd. - Providing engaging afterschool support primarily for a 9 year-old boy with recent ADHD diagnosis, along with very self-sufficient 11 year-old girl. - Experience with providing ADHD-specific coaching, planning and time management skills. - Ability to support task planning and completion relating to schoolwork, piano practice, etc., blended with breaks, etc. - Looking for someone to work from 4-6pm Monday to Thursday. - Teaching experience is a plus but not absolutely required.
