| Over 10 years experience in aged care work as an AIN. Then after a short break to have my 3 children I started working at HACC in Bunbury. Providing domestic care an some ADL Duties etc Unfortunately I only worked just under a year there before I became full time carer for my young son and ex husband following an horrific MVA in April ####.#### car accident my young son who was 6 healthy and otherwise 'normal' pre accident was post accident Dx with severe brain injury (ABI) he had to learn how to walk,talk, eat, communicate and how to use the toilet etc all over again. Over 6 months at PMH once he awoke from his month long coma, then extensive follow up appts and intensive rehab were needed for years after and still continue to this day, although the intensity and frequency have lowered. Due to the car accident he also now has seizures which are currently controlled with medication and type 1 Diabetes. My ex husband also suffered a traumatic brain injury from the MVA and required my full time care as well. I have also done courses in mental health.
