| For 10 years I have successfully worked with children and adults suffering from: severe developmental delay, Angelman syndrome, depression, anxiety, developmental delays and other mental health conditions. 2017 - current I work as a Special Needs Education Assistant and have been with students from 4yo - 13yo diagnosed with severe anxiety, global developmental delay, ADHD, ODD, autism, speech delay and hearing loss. I work closely with parents and teachers to ensure the individuals are receiving the right care and the same information from those around them. I am currently half way through my degree in Primary Ed and want to focus on assisting others in need.

I have been a tutor casually for 3-4 years and have been caring for children since I was 15. Currently, I work as a care support mentor for a lady with down syndrome and I volunteer as a mentor for grade 12's going through their exams. I have a working with children's check, a first-aid certificate and a police clearance. For personal experience, my younger sister has autism and I have been a carer for her for over 10 years.

I am very passionate about the caring side of the nursing industry and have thoroughly enjoyed all of my Aged Care and Rehabilitation placements. I have worked with a wide range of residents and clients with differing levels of necessary care and assistance. I have also nannied and cared for children with intellectual and physical disabilities.
