Hello! My name is Kate and I am a 3rd-year student studying Industrial Engineering at Cornell University in the United States, studying abroad until June at USYD. I am from Richmond, Virginia and here's a little about me: I am a competitive swimmer and love going for walks, reading, dancing, and going to the beach.
I have 5+ years of babysitting ranging from newborns to 14-year-olds. I am CPR and first aid certified and worked as a lifeguard for 5 years, so I have extensive experience in critical life-saving procedures. I worked as a camp counselor and swim instructor for 3 summers, managing groups of 30+ children ages 8-12 for 6 hours at a time. My favorite activities while babysitting is playing card and board games, going for walks, and going to playgrounds, the beach, and the pool. I am passionate about leaving a home cleaner than I found it, cooking for children, providing a safe and supportive environment, and helping with homework.
