Since I was 16 (I'm 26 now), I've been babysitting and nannying for families in my neighbourhood. I was the local babysitter on my street in Northbridge, where I cared for 4 different families. I loved sharing my spare time during school with my neighbours, and establishing trusted relationships with the community around me. Fast forward to when I was studying at university, I cared for a range of different families, from a 5 & 7 year old brother and sister in Dulwich Hill, a 7-month-old in North Sydney, and even a family of 4 children in Petersham. My most recent experience was with a beautiful family in Mosman, where I cared for three kids for 2.5 years. It was wonderful to see the children grow up during this time, especially because I began when the boys were 3 months old and 2 years old respectively. I now work full-time as a communications professional at a law firm, but am missing the fun and adventure that comes with spending time with children. I'm now looking to share my spare time outside of work with families in my new local area in the inner city.
