In search of someone to care for Gimley (12yo miniature dachshund) and Kiki (hamster) while my family and I travel downstate to visit my grandmother. Both pets are very low maintenance. Gimley needs food, water, and potty breaks. Kiki needs veggies and seeds once a day. We will be gone this Friday night (12/13) through mid-next week (12/18-19). I am open to a house sitter, boarding the pets elsewhere, or daily visits.

We are looking for something a little unique that meshes childcare with cleaning and picking up around our house. It would probably be 2-3 hours each time (somewhere between the hours of 7-10pm) while my husband and I are gone. Our 3 children would be asleep during this time. Our kids rarely wake up, but we do need someone experienced with children in case they do. We are looking for help with whatever can be done in the timeframe: laundry, dishes, sweeping, wiping surfaces, cleaning bathrooms, changing sheets, deep cleaning projects. It won't be all those things each time, just what can be done in a few hours. Friday morning could work for a few hours instead of an evening. We value someone with attention to detail, reliability, and timely communication. And a heart for children is a must!

We live in Berkley and have the silliest/sweetest little girls - 3 years old and 11 months old. I work part time as a nurse and my husband works as an engineer at GM. He goes into the office Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday but works from home Mondays and Fridays. Typical hours are 6:30a-3:30p. Hours may vary depending if he's working from home or if I'm home sleeping (I work night shift every other month). Days each week vary too. Looking for part time. Usually 1-2 days a week. Sometimes only need 1 day a week depending on how it falls because some of my shifts are weekends. Or sometimes we would utilize you a few days a week if I pick up extra shifts! Would absolutely love to use for date nights if available as well. If there's specific days that work better for you and your scheduling I can try to work my shifts around them but not always gauranteed!
