Wake up and dance at JAMaROO Kids Noe Valley! Come fly like a butterfly, hop like a bunny, stomp like an elephant, and tip toe like a mouse! In the JAMaROO Kids Dance and Creative Movement Classes, children are introduced to the basics of dance. Classes include a warm-up circle, stretching games, imaginative dance, partner dance, and free dance. Welcome to our winter pop up at Messy Art Lab! Our Winter Classes are bursting with hands-on fun and creative exploration. Each week, little artists will dive into handmade play dough , explore colorful sensory stations, and get immersed in activities that are perfect for little hands and big imaginations. Messy play is encouraged, and little ones will love the chance to explore, squish, and create. Class Experience: Toddler Messy Art Exploration' is a sensory and art-based experience for children. Activities include, but are not limited to exploring with slime, doughs, clay, painting, sifting, transferring, and more. This class is a time for caretakers to observe and support the children letting them follow their own pace through the experiences set up in class. Notes To make the most of this experience, please follow your child's lead. Step back and observe. We invite you to resist the urge to “show” your child the “right” way because in doing that we end up robbing our children of that magical moment when they discover it all on their own. Calling all secret agents! We are looking for a class of brave and adventurous kids to join for a week of make-believe espionage… In this camp we will make spy crafts, complete indoor obstacle courses, and pretend that we are secret agents on a mission! We will also work together to create a show about our mysterious experiences to share with friends and families on the last day. This is a wonderful camp for kids who love solving puzzles and riddles. Drop off is from 9am - 9:30 and pick up is anytime between 2:30 - 3:00pm. After 4 weeks we are unable to credit. If your child is sick or you need to miss a day of camp we will have a camp bag ready for you at the studio. This bag will be filled with enchanted projects, art materials, audio and video links and anything your kiddo might be missing in class. Step into a fairy-tale world full of magic potions and make-believe for a day. Campers will be able to let their creative juices flow as they craft their own fairy costumes, come up with a unique fairy name and magical power, and take off flying into their imaginations! We will set the stage for some fun pretend play and craft time that will draw inspiration from fairy lore while celebrating each kiddo’s creative ideas. Move, sing and dance with Teacher Laura at the Noe Valley Kids Club! This class is great for those who simply want to discover a new language, reinforce language in a bilingual household, or expose their little to the many amazing cultures that make up our country! Come clap your hands, stomp your feet, and shake your hips to the rhythm and the beat! In the JAMaROO Kids Bilingual Music & Movement classes, we’ll sing traditional songs and learn original ones too (many written by our own teachers), all while exploring the Spanish language! Each month, we’ll focus on a different seasonal curriculum that incorporates the use of puppets, books, and other props to maximize the educational experience and keep classes fun and exciting! Using our curriculum, we will encourage both English and Spanish vocabulary, singing in both languages, and identifying objects and characters in English and Spanish as well! Through movement activities, children will build gross motor skills, directly encouraging strength, balance, and coordination. Our teachers will use bean bags, scarves, shakers, rhythm sticks, and other equipment to make classes more interactive and hands-on. At JAMaROO Kids all of our music curriculum is developed to support and foster all five key areas of development: Cognitive, Speech & Language, Gross Motor Development, Fine Motor Development, Social and Emotional. This class includes: Bilingual Music, Movement, and Storytime. 15 MINUTE EXPLORATION TIMES: We are eager to build community together as we open our JAMaROO Kids Club! We invite you to arrive up to 15 minutes before your class, and stay up to 15 minutes after your class ends, to explore our space with your littles! We simply ask that you adhere to the 15 minute windows before and after out of respect for the previous class, and the following class. If you would like to play in our space for longer please consider signing up for one of our open playtime hours- these can also be found on our registration page. Thank you for your cooperation! This session, we will focus on fun on the Arctic, Dinosaurs, and the Enchanted Garden! This is a 6 week session for Monday classes, and 8 week session for Tuesday-Friday classes.
