Our Baby Music Classes for infants and young toddlers provide an opportunity for parents and/or caregivers to sing and dance with their little ones to build and strengthen connections. Music supports and nurtures all areas of child development: Social-emotional, Cognitive, Language and Literacy, as well as both areas of physical development, fine and gross motor development. During these classes, we’ll sing traditional songs and learn many new ones, often using fun visual props to help support language development and symbolic thinking.  Most of our staff has extensive background in Early Childhood Education, intentionally exposing children to a rich variety of language, beats, and sounds while remaining developmentally appropriate. Our programs offer a joyful and rewarding experience for both adults and children, providing a great occasion for babies to interact with other babies and parents to meet other parents. 15 MINUTE EXPLORATION TIMES: We are eager to build community together as we open our JAMaROO Kids Club! Children are encouraged to come in their PJs to this fun evening yoga class! We will dim the lights and create a fun, yet calm and peaceful ambiance. Let us lead your child by bridging the art of storytelling with yoga! In class, children go on a yoga adventure using their imaginations and the art of storytelling to help navigate through yoga poses. Our destinations include hiking in the Mountains, diving in the Great Barrier Reef, going on a Safari in Africa, or sledding in the North Pole. On our journey we play yoga games, sing yoga songs, and practice breathing techniques. Our goal is to give young children a developmentally appropriate way to explore yoga poses, mindfulness and social emotional learning. Music, Movement, Dance & Storytime at Alta Plaza on Mondays and Thursdays! Come clap your hands, stomp your feet, and shake your hips to the rhythm and the beat! In the JAMaROO Kids Music & Movement classes, we’ll sing traditional songs and learn original ones too (many written by our own teachers). Our music curriculum has been developed to spark creativity and incorporate imaginative play. Each month, we’ll focus on a different seasonal curriculum that incorporates the use of puppets, books, and other props to maximize the educational experience and keep classes fun and exciting! Throughout the year, our teachers will use a variety of simple instruments and introduce children to different genres of music from around the world. Through movement activities, children will build gross motor skills, directly encouraging strength, balance, and coordination. Our teachers will use bean bags, scarves, shakers, rhythm sticks, and other equipment to make classes more interactive and hands-on. At JAMaROO Kids all of our music, dance, and yoga curriculum is developed to support and foster all five key areas of development: Cognitive, Speech & Language, Gross Motor Development, Fine Motor Development, Social and Emotional. Join us for this fun-filled class where we strive to spread delight and wonder by infusing the love of imagination with beginning ballet! All our ballet classes are designed to encourage make believe and to allow children to create their own dances that live inside their hearts! We will frolic around in our favorite costumes using imagination-stimulating games to dance our ways through the ocean of possibilities, with a mermaid themed show at the end of session!

Spend the week transforming into a flower fairy! Explore the Magic Garden, meet all the creatures that live there, and help the flowers bloom! On Friday, Fairy Primrose will visit, and campers will sing the Flower Fairy Song. Parents are invited at 3:00 PM to meet the fairies. Step into a fairy-tale world full of magic potions and make-believe for a day. Campers will be able to let their creative juices flow as they craft their own fairy costumes, come up with a unique fairy name and magical power, and take off flying into their imaginations! Puppet shows are back! Join us once a month on Saturday mornings as we take kiddos on a story-time adventure with puppet pals Sneaky Pete, Tom the Rat, Meowzers, plus some new special guests! There will also be theater and movement games, dancing, and singing. Caregiver is required to stay.

Join us for a day with Prince Milo in the Rainbow Jungle where tigers come in all stripes and colors. Campers will get to transform into magical tiger characters and together we will go on a pretend play adventure through the wild jungle.
