We are partnering with MoBu Dance studios once again to bring camp to our big kids! This is the perfect camp for those who love acting and film. Kids will work in groups to make a collection of trailers that we will debut on the red carpet on the file day of camp. This class is perfect for children who are new to preschool or will be entering into preschool soon. These preschool classes have been created to work on fostering all 5 key areas of development in early childhood education: Cognitive, Speech and Language, Fine and Gross motor development and social emotional. In classes we'll sing traditional songs and also sing original JAMaROO Kids songs created by our own team. Many songs will focus on the alphabet, building vocabulary, and basic math skills. We will begin to explore basic music theory by introducing children to fun characters such as Octave the Octopus! Each month our curriculum will change to ensure children stay excited about class and are always learning something new while providing them with enough repetition to master new skills and vocabulary. 15 MINUTE EXPLORATION TIMES: We are eager to build community together as we open our JAMaROO Kids Club! The Ukulele is the perfect first instrument for young children. This naturally small instrument fits so well into their small hands! Little Folkies is a multi-award winning early childhood folk music program for parents and kids ages 0-5. Little Folkies Family music class welcomes babies, toddlers and preschoolers along with their parents, grandparents and caregivers to come together every week to sing together like one big family band! There is never a dull moment in this class, with the teacher leading the students through fun and engaging finger play activities, hand movements, fun lap songs, call and response singing and hands-on jamming with shakers and wooden kids instruments. Join us for this fun-filled class where we strive to spread delight and wonder by infusing the love of imagination with beginning ballet! All our ballet classes are designed to encourage make believe and to allow children to create their own dances that live inside their hearts! We will frolic around in our favorite costumes using imagination-stimulating games to dance our ways through the ocean of possibilities, with a mermaid themed show at the end of session!

Each camper will receive their very own Victorian-style cardboard house and we will spend the day painting and decorating a special world for their little friend! We’ll also get to put on costumes, play theater games, go to the park, and watch a show put on by our Rabbit Hole puppets! This camp is perfect for kids who love diving deep into arts and crafts. Music, Movement, Dance & Storytime at Alta Plaza Park! Come clap your hands, stomp your feet, and shake your hips to the rhythm and the beat! In the JAMaROO Kids Music & Movement classes, we’ll sing traditional songs and learn original ones too (many written by our own teachers). Our music curriculum has been developed to spark creativity and incorporate imaginative play. Each month, we’ll focus on a different seasonal curriculum that incorporates the use of puppets, books, and other props to maximize the educational experience and keep classes fun and exciting! Throughout the year, our teachers will use a variety of simple instruments and introduce children to different genres of music from around the world. Through movement activities, children will build gross motor skills, directly encouraging strength, balance, and coordination. Our teachers will use bean bags, scarves, shakers, rhythm sticks, and other equipment to make classes more interactive and hands-on. At JAMaROO Kids all of our music, dance, and yoga curriculum is developed to support and foster all five key areas of development: Cognitive, Speech & Language, Gross Motor Development, Fine Motor Development, Social and Emotional. This class includes: Music, Movement, Dance, and Storytime. This session, we will focus on fun on the Enchanted Garden, Outer Space, & Insects, Gardens, and Weather! This is an 8 week session.
