Move, sing and dance in Lafayette Park! Come clap your hands, stomp your feet, and shake your hips to the rhythm and the beat! In the JAMaROO Kids Music & Movement classes, we’ll sing traditional songs and learn original ones too (many written by our own teachers). Our music curriculum has been developed to spark creativity and incorporate imaginative play. Each month, we’ll focus on a different seasonal curriculum that incorporates the use of puppets, books, and other props to maximize the educational experience and keep classes fun and exciting! Throughout the year, our teachers will use a variety of simple instruments and introduce children to different genres of music from around the world. Through movement activities, children will build gross motor skills, directly encouraging strength, balance, and coordination. Our teachers will use bean bags, scarves, shakers, rhythm sticks, and other equipment to make classes more interactive and hands-on. At JAMaROO Kids all of our music, dance, and yoga curriculum is developed to support and foster all five key areas of development: Cognitive, Speech & Language, Gross Motor Development, Fine Motor Development, Social and Emotional. This class includes: Music, Movement, Dance, Yoga and Storytime. This session, we will focus on fun on the Enchanted Garden, Outer Space, & Insects, Gardens, and Weather! This is an 8 week session.

Dive into your favorite stories, or learn new ones as we explore the Rabbit Hole Queendom with our puppet friends! This class is for all our little ones who want to dive into their imaginations! We will use the power of make believe to travel on many adventures! Photography Notice: We love to share the joy of our experiences on SmugMug and social media! Butterfly Princesses, gather around! You are all invited to the Magic Garden, where they will host The Butterfly Ball! Craft your butterfly wings, prepare to dance, and end the week with a special meet-and-greet featuring the Sunflower Princess. Drop off is from 9am - 9:30 and pick up is anytime between 3:00 - 3:30pm. Refund Policy: Please note that we have a no refund policy. Full credits will be issued for anything with a 4 week notice and can be used for any future Rabbit Hole activity. After 4 weeks we are unable to credit. If your child is sick or you need to miss a day of camp we will have a camp bag ready for you at the studio. This bag will be filled with enchanted projects, art materials, audio and video links and anything your kiddo might be missing in class. Welcome to Messy Art Lab’s MESSY MINIS! Each week, little artists will embark on a creative adventure, freely exploring a variety of engaging stations at their own pace. From handmade play dough to colorful sensory bins and open-ended art stations, this is a space for children to follow their curiosity, experiment with materials, and engage in hands-on discovery. Messy play encouraged—squish, splash, mix, and create! A Child-Led Experience * Follow your child's lead—step back, observe, and let them take the reins! There is no "right" way to explore, only endless possibilities. The focus is on the process, not the final product. *Parents, if a nanny or grandparent will be accompanying your child, please take a moment to share the Messy Art Lab approach. Class Guidelines * Dress for mess—comfortable clothes you don’t mind getting a little (or a lot!) messy. *One adult per child to ensure a relaxed and spacious environment.
