Little Folkies Family music class welcomes babies, toddlers and preschoolers along with their parents, grandparents and caregivers to come together every week to sing together like one big family band! In classes we'll sing traditional songs and also sing original JAMaROO Kids songs created by our own team. Many songs will focus on the alphabet, building vocabulary, and basic math skills. We will begin to explore basic music theory by introducing children to fun characters such as Octave the Octopus! This class is great for those who simply want to discover a new language, reinforce language in a bilingual household, or expose their little to the many amazing cultures that make up our country! At JAMaROO Kids all of our music, dance, and yoga curriculum is developed to support and foster all five key areas of development: Cognitive, Speech & Language, Gross Motor Development, Fine Motor Development, Social and Emotional. This class includes: Music, Movement, Dance and Storytime. 15 MINUTE EXPLORATION TIMES: We are eager to build community together as we open our JAMaROO Kids Club! We invite you to arrive up to 15 minutes before your class, and stay up to 15 minutes after your class ends, to explore our space with your littles! We simply ask that you adhere to the 15 minute windows before and after out of respect for the previous class, and the following class. If you would like to play in our space for longer please consider signing up for one of our open playtime hours- these can also be found on our registration page. Thank you for your cooperation! This session, we will focus on fun on the Arctic, Dinosaurs, and the Enchanted Garden! This is a 6 week session for Monday classes, and 8 week session for Tuesday-Friday classes. Session package prices are adjusted accordingly.
