RESERVATIONS MUST BE MADE AT LEAST 3 HOURS IN ADVANCE (this class will not be visible after that time) as materials must be prepared in advance. There is a $5 fee if you do not cancel your reservation at least 1 hour in advance and do not attend class. Thank you for your understanding. Focusing on process over product, children will get to express themselves while using various art mediums and themes. Classes include story time with a snack. Winter Semester (January-Mid March) "Expressive Impressionism" takes the core techniques of Impressionism but adds a stronger emphasis on conveying emotion and personal interpretation through more dynamic brushwork, and exaggerated color. This course explores Impressionist themes, techniques, and various impressionistic artists. Students choose their own subjects and mediums while implementing the lessons learned in class. The instructor is an expert in chalk pastel, oil, acrylic, or watercolor. Supplies are available for use but it is encouraged for students to bring their own in order to continue working in their own studio between classes. We can provide a recommended supply list for the medium of choice if needed. Various techniques will be demonstrated to help guide students to their project goals. Students may choose to follow along step by step or work more independently, getting guidance as needed. Either way is welcome. Classes are limited in size, so sign up today!

Students will explore glass cutting and uses of the types of materials available. Through the step by step guidance by fused glass experts Marty and Brittney. This dad and daughter team helps students will learn to make a variety of different glass pieces. Join us for a morning of art that is a whole lot of fun. At this camp your child will create their own adorable Tic-Tac-Toe game board (clay tile) and miniature clay pieces.
