This dad and daughter team helps students will learn to make a variety of different glass pieces. Winter Semester (January-Mid December) Designed for adults that require some adaptive conditions to create their art. ages 18 and older, For those with special needs but are higher functioning. Adaptive Art is a field that focuses primarily on the students' access to art making despite personal challenges. Art can foster self expression build self-esteem, group participation, self-control and individuality. Students learn to explore a variety of different art materials and styles and are encouraged to trust their own decision-making skills through the guidance of a professional artist. Do you want to learn how to create a large scale painting ( up to 30”x40”) with drama of beautiful strategic texture? With the guidance of professional artist, Anita Robbins, you will create an original, textured, work of art. This workshop runs for 4 weeks every Wednesday in January. This is a mixed medium painting workshop. During this workshop you will learn how acrylic and texture create a number of archival techniques for a quality substrate. Anita will teach textural techniques that will help create a 3-D feel to your artwork and will also cover principles of design in composing and organizing texture and colors to make a successful painting.
