In our upcoming art class, we will be creating pieces inspired by the vibrant and expressive abstract works of Alma Thomas, a pioneering African-American artist celebrated for her unique style and impactful legacy. Join us for this fantastic 6-week creative workshop! Students will design and build their very own dollhouse, and create furniture and friends to go inside! Using items like wallpaper scraps, card-stock, fabric, recycled materials, paint, and lots of imagination, the students will build the house of their dreams! Each week students will work on a different aspect of their house, such as the exterior, living area, kitchen, their dolls, and some pets! We will be putting a lot of time and detail into every aspect to make it extra special! Each class is 90-mins, and will be held weekly on Tuesday evenings, from 6:00-7:30 pm.
