Gouache is an awesome but lesser known medium that it can be used like watercolor paint, so the techniques learned can be done with either mediums. Winter Semester (January-Mid March) Not a little kid any more and not yet a teen, this class is designed for middle school aged children, the in be'tween' age. In this class your tween will learn different painting techniques and work on improving their skills while learning a little about art history. Students are encouraged to develop their own style and ideas while exploring different mediums, styles, and artists. Class is taught using the program Procreate for Apple iPad, which is strongly recommended. Other programs may suffice, but we cannot promise a 1:1 comparison of lessons for any other programs used. Experience in procreate preferred but not required. This pass is for Winter 2025 Jan 6-Mar 15th .This studio time is meant for an artist the opportunity to focus on their art and take a number of classes. By buying the pass you can attend as many adult classes as you desire (except the glass class which has to be purchased separately). You can attend during that semester as long as there is still room. You must choose which classes so that you spot is assured and if you miss a class three times your spot will be lost in that class. This does not include workshops or supplies.
