Join us for a morning of art that is a whole lot of fun. At this camp your child will create their own adorable Tic-Tac-Toe game board (clay tile) and miniature clay pieces. Sculptures will be made using polymer clay which is baked and cooled and then painted. Your child will come home with unique works of art. Spaces are limited, register today. Winter Semester (January-Mid March) "Expressive Impressionism" takes the core techniques of Impressionism but adds a stronger emphasis on conveying emotion and personal interpretation through more dynamic brushwork, and exaggerated color. This course explores Impressionist themes, techniques, and various impressionistic artists. Students choose their own subjects and mediums while implementing the lessons learned in class. The instructor is an expert in chalk pastel, oil, acrylic, or watercolor. Supplies are available for use but it is encouraged for students to bring their own in order to continue working in their own studio between classes. We can provide a recommended supply list for the medium of choice if needed. Various techniques will be demonstrated to help guide students to their project goals.
