Winter Semester (January-Mid March) This class is for youth artists looking to strengthen their artistic abilities. Students are encouraged to develop their own style and ideas while working on specific projects selected to teach important art skills. Students work in a variety of mediums including oil, watercolor and acrylic. This class is a small group which allows for development in the areas each individual artist needs. Students will be given practice to do at home during the week to help develop and build their skills. Classes are limited in size, so sign up today!

Winter Semester (January-Mid December) This class is for students who want to try different mediums, are new in the world of art, or who want to build on basic art techniques. All supplies provided as students explore techniques, learn basics of color theory, and try different mediums used to draw and paint. Students are introduced to the elements and principles of art to create full, functional, and stylish compositions. This class will explore the different mediums used in drawing such as charcoal, graphite, colored pencil, and pastel along with painting in oil, acrylic, gouache and watercolor. This is a beginning class that allows students to test a variety of materials in order to find which medium to continue learning about and then join one of our more in depth classes on that medium. All supplies are provided for this class. Classes are limited in size, so sign up today!

Winter Semester (January-Mid December) Designed for adults that require some adaptive conditions to create their art. ages 18 and older, For those with special needs but are higher functioning. Adaptive Art is a field that focuses primarily on the students' access to art making despite personal challenges. Art can foster self expression build self-esteem, group participation, self-control and individuality. Students learn to explore a variety of different art materials and styles and are encouraged to trust their own decision-making skills through the guidance of a professional artist. Facilities are wheelchair accessible. Supplies are provided with a $45 fee that will include personal brushes, drawing pencil set and portfolio binder. Please call to see if this is a good fit.

This class will explore the different mediums used in drawing such as charcoal, graphite, colored pencil, and pastel. Students learn to use the elements and principles of art to create full, functional, and stylish compositions. This class explores shading to create a 3 dimensional drawing, color theory, basics of starting a drawing, and more. Students are guided to build and sculpt using different clay techniques with a focus on polymer clay. This class is great for beginners who want to start working with clay. In this class your child will refine their fine motor skills as they learn to draw, paint, and sculpt, while also learning a little art history.
