Join us on a week-long journey as we explore the theater! Puppet theater, that is. Working in small groups, campers will create scripts, sets, and puppets from scratch. They will learn about the history of the theater, as well as what it takes to bring their characters to life. By the end of the week campers will put on their own theatrical performances. Point your tastebuds towards a fun and delicious culinary adventure. Similar to all of our camps, we will be traveling to different locations around the Bay Area. Every day will meet and learn from professional chefs from local restaurants. Campers will learn how to prepare and cook their food, and eventually eat their creations. Thus, lunch is included with every day of this week (campers who are not comfortable with a variety of food options are welcome to bring extra food if they desire). ***Note****: Due to the locations and cuisines of this camp week, we must advise that there will be dishes with nuts, gluten, and other possible food allergies. For the safety of the campers, we advise all children with food allergies not to participate in this camp. Designed to excite and capture some of our older campers; this camp will take daily trips to meet different artists from around the Bay Area. Each day we will learn and experience a new art form from talented artists in their field. All materials are included. Campers need to bring an artistic interest, a desire to learn and a lunch.

All of our camps are active but this one finds the adventurer in us. We will travel the Bay Area in search of thrills and chills. Try your hand, and mind, at a ropes course and then set sail aboard a boat bound for fun and adventure. Kayak the bay while looking for sea lions, mountain bike, and paddle board on the Bay. In Active camp at UAC you will challenge yourself mentally and physically while having the time of your life.
