Join us for a fun-filled fine art camp where young artists will dive into an exciting mix of drawing, painting, and sculpture! In this hands-on, mixed media camp, kids will create seasonally themed art projects, exploring their creativity through various techniques and materials. After a morning of artistic expression, we’ll take a mid-day break to enjoy lunch at Montclair Park, where campers can relax at the picnic tables and play on the park's play structure, before heading back to the studio for more artistic adventures. Are you a history buff? If so, this camp is for you. You do not need to have taken History 1 to participate in this week; all you need is a love of all things historical. Come with us as we learn about the fort built to protect the San Francisco Bay during the Civil War. Watch the engines that pull all of the cable cars up and down the steep hills around San Francisco. See the Immigration Station where thousands of people first set foot into the United States in the early 1900’s. Climb into the USS Pampanito and the SS Jeremiah OBrien to see two amazing WW2 ship museums. History 2 week at UAC offers campers a variety of opportunities to experience history like never before.

You’ll learn a variety of ways to play with your newest little bundle of joy. Non-mobile babies are exposed to sensory play, songs, and the beginnings of social play. Meet like-minded parents while our expert teachers lead you through nurturing exercises and activities that stimulate your baby’s brain development. Campers will experiment with interior design development and blueprints, as well as work with an array of materials to plan, design, and create their very own 3D buildings, and more! This summer you can fly around the world using a life size version of Google Earth, blow bubbles the size of a small car and climb around in a DNA double helix. Spend the week exploring science museums and even a submarine. Learn how roller coasters work and what it takes to become an astronaut. Learning is cool and electrifying in the Physics and Technology camp at UAC.

In this camp you will learn all about the natural world around us. There will be plenty of opportunities to see giant giraffes, touch slimy sea cucumbers, and witness birds soar over your head as you venture into the rain forest. Nature abounds when you join us for Biology/Natural Science camp at UAC.

With campers loving our culinary camps so much, we decided to add a second. This camp is similar to our other culinary camps, with 5 different chefs, but with a week full of vegan meals and chefs. Point your taste buds towards a fun and delicious culinary adventure that brings out delicious vegan food. Similar to all of our camps, we will be traveling to different locations around the Bay Area. Every day will visit a different commercial kitchen where we will learn how to make dishes from a specific cuisine (days listed below). Campers will learn how to prepare and cook their food, and eventually eat their creations. Thus, lunch is included with every day of this week (campers who are not comfortable with a variety of food options are welcome/encouraged to bring extra food if they desire). ***Note****: Due to the locations and cuisines of this camp week, we must advise that there will be dishes with nuts, gluten, and other possible food allergies. We advise all children with food allergies to not choose this camp. If you do have specific or rare food allergies please feel free to inquire with us and we will do our best to check the ingredients being used. This camp will have dishes that contain nuts.
