(Note: The menu is subject to change based on ingredient availability.) ABOUT SUMMER CAMP: Whether your child likes to bake, create, roast, sauté, fry, or blend, we have a camp for all interests. Our camps are organized into 3 age groups so all chefs team up with their peers. Group ages are as follows: Tiny Chefs ages 4-6, Lil’ Chefs ages, 7-9, and Teen Chefs 10+. All chefs will get to taste everything that they cook. All recipes will be sent home for later preparation. A child may also pack up any uneaten tastings to share at home. Celebrate self-expression during Me, Myself, and Art Week! Campers will dive into projects that explore personal stories, favorite things, and self-portraits while experimenting with different materials and techniques. From abstract interpretations to realistic depictions, this week is all about creativity and individuality. The daily activity schedule includes two full hours of art-making and an hour for snack and other activities, fostering a fun and social camp experience. Parents provide the snack. Extended Care: Extended care is available during the following time periods: 12-1 pm and 4-5 pm at $65 per hour for five days per week or fewer. You may also customize your extended care schedule at $17 per hour or portion of an hour for one or more days. Coordinate your extended care needs with The Marvegos before attending and notify the teacher of your needs on the first day of camp. Waitlisting: If your preferred camp is full, we highly recommend adding your child to the waitlist. If spots become available, everyone on the waiting list is notified via email, and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Avoiding Repeated Projects: Each themed week features the same projects throughout the week. Morning and Afternoon Campers will work on identical projects within the same themed week. You’ll solve fun challenges and puzzles by learning how to talk to computers using a language called Karel (used by Stanford students!). You’ll master cool coding tricks like loops, “if this, then that” commands, and more. It’s like learning a secret language that makes your ideas come to life on screen. Perfect for curious kids who love games, challenges, and using their brainpower to create something awesome! This curriculum uses Stanford University's Karel programming language, a pre-JavaScript language that serves as a prerequisite for incoming university freshmen.
