Hilltop Creative is nestled in Bernal Heights. Our space is aesthetically beautiful and calming for our days together. We are excited to spend the week being creative, building community and long lasting friendships. Hilltop Creative provides an enriching environment for children to explore art, nature, creativity and curiosity. We strive to build community and enrich social relationships. We also believe in the power and beauty of nature. We hold value in the important benefits it brings. Being outdoors brings increased happiness and reduces cortisol levels. We see better sleep, cognitive function and overall well being in ourselves. Here is a bit about our camp days: Drop Off is from 9am-9:30 and pick up is between 2:30-3 pm. During our days together at Hilltop Creative Summer Camp we will start our mornings off with free exploration, morning greetings, snack and an indoor creative activity. We will have outdoor time on neighborhood hikes and also will visit our local playgrounds and recreational areas Bernal Heights, Holly Park and St Mary's. Towards the end of the day we will gather indoors and will have an afternoon snack provided by Hilltop Creative. Our ration is 1:6and we do not go over 12 campers. AN OCEAN OF ART Join us for an afternoon of art that is fun, hands on, and a blast of creativity! At this camp your child will sculpt a tail of their favorite sea creature splashing into a wave using polymer clay which is baked and cooled and then painted all at camp! CREATING CHARACTERS Join us for a camp inspired by the movies and games set in the world of Super Mario! At this camp your child will paint Princess Peach or Rosalina from the Super Mario Brothers using acrylic paint on canvas board. Your child will come home with a completed work of art. PE 101 is a 90-minute class where students explore multiple sports in a fun, encouraging learning environment. This program is designed to keep students ACTIVE while they learn the basics of athletics and team sports. Each class includes: A dynamic warm-up and stretch Agility stations and skill-building drills Sport-specific units that cover rules, strategy, and fundamentals Classic, high-energy games like kickball, dodgeball, whiffleball, wallball, and capture the flag Our goal is to help students build confidence, coordination, and a love for movement—while having a blast with friends. If in-person or indoor classes cannot be held, we will make every effort to: Move class to an alternate location, or Host class online if we are unable to meet in person Refund Policy We are unable to offer refunds once classes have started.

Rebel Art Summer Camps are full of exploration, creative excitement, and just plain fun! Much like our teen school year classes, we will offer the flexibility of having planned projects for those who don't necessarily have a clear idea of what to create, as well as more of an open studio for those who are ready to dive into all those projects in their heads (with the guidance of our teachers). We offer everything from drawing, painting, collage, mixed media, printmaking to sculpture. Please note that due to time constraints, we do not offer ceramics in this program during summer camps (please check out our Rebel Ceramics program if interested in working with ceramics). We break up the week by hosting camp in different locations. Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays are hosted at the studio at 1444 South Main st., and Tuesdays/Thursdays we meet at local parks. This unique opportunity is only offered during summer camps and is incredibly special as it allows campers to experience working in plein air (from life outside) as well as in the studio for a complete art experience. Please note that we keep a close watch on the weather and air quality and will relocate to the studio if it will be too hot or poor air.

We learn more than how to follow a recipe at Lil’ Chef School. We utilize math, science, teamwork, creativity, and more. Children learn about cuisines of the world and enhance their experience with fruits, vegetables, herbs & spices while gaining confidence and experience in the kitchen that will last them a lifetime. Children will make 2 recipes each week and will get a tasting of the food they made at the end of class. Recipes are provided online.

Dive into a week of sun-soaked creativity! Our Sandcastles & Seashells Art Camp brings the magic of the beach to the art studio, with oceans of imaginative projects inspired by sandy shores, shimmering seashells, and everything coastal. Each morning and afternoon, campers will explore a brand-new hands-on art activity. Throughout the week, young artists will paint, sculpt, build, and craft using a mix of exciting materials like sand, clay, watercolor, collage, and natural elements. From whimsical sandcastle sculptures to seashell mosaics and ocean-themed masterpieces, every session encourages creativity, experimentation, and beach-day wonder. Perfect for kids who love the sea, this camp blends artmaking with playful summer vibes, giving campers a chance to explore texture, color, and design in fun, refreshing ways. WEEK 8 August 3 - 7 Camp Giggles The Giggling Pig World Step into the magical world of Giggling Pig Village! This special camp week invites your child to explore the village, meet all the characters, and discover the stories behind their personalities and how they were created. Campers will dive into creativity as they learn about character design, storytelling, and even a little entrepreneurship while bringing their own original characters to life. The fun continues with board-game making, character cards, daily projects, and an exciting village-wide competition! All campers can enter their character for a chance to have it professionally illustrated by creator Hannah Perry. Optional Giggling Pig goodie bags and signed books will also be available.
