I am from the US on a working holiday visa. While in the US I worked at a traditional summer camp in upstate NY designed for children predominantly on the autism spectrum. I lived and worked predominantly with girls aged 14-19, but interacted with campers of all ages, abilities and genders. Utilized leadership, creativity, and communication skills while instilling independence, self-esteem, and confidence in campers. Additionally, throughout university I was a nanny for families both with children with disabilities and without, doing school pick ups, drop offs, football practice, cooking etc. I would be thrilled to bring these skills to your home.
