| I was as tutor during school for students needing help with their GCSEs and A Levels. I received A*A*A at A level in History, Biology and Chemistry, and 7A* 3A at GCSE. I primarily taught the sciences, history and english. I am extremely, patient, friendly and reliable. I am currently studying for a BA in History at the University of Leeds. I have further volunteered with children at school, sports camps and was a netball coach. I can help with homework, exam preparation or general educational support.

| Trilingual MSc student with a BSc in Chemistry with experience tutoring students in IB, GCSE, and A-level programs primarily in Chemistry, Biology, and Maths. My end-of-degree BSc project focused on pedagogy and how to effectively communicate knowledge to students to allow them to retain as much information as possible. I focus on foundational aspects of teaching and prepare a personalized plan for each student depending on what they require. I build up their knowledge from the ground up and explain the rationale behind each concept to build the linkages between different units and foster a deeper understanding before carefully selecting specific exam-style questions that progress us forward. First, I brief the parents and hop on a demo call with them before doing the same with the students where we introduce ourselves to each other and I get to better understand their needs, and what is the root cause of their current difficulties before working through a concept together to get them accustomed to my teaching method while setting expectations for all parties.

| Hi! I’m Anas, and I’m a GCSE Maths and A-Level Maths tutor. A little bit about me, I have just finished college studying A Level Maths, Further Maths, Chemistry and Biology. I have my results day very soon, however I have been predicted A*A*A*A. I have achieved 8 9’s and 2 8’s in GCSE, >97% in Further Maths GCSE and >95% in Maths GCSE (Edexcel). I have taught GCSE English and Maths to students aged 5-16 face to face in a tuition centre for 2+ years with all students I have worked with, achieving a pass or above. I have taught A Level maths to a select few students, and have created maths social media content throughout exam season to help others. I also hold live streams going through A Level content so I am very confident in my ability to teach. How I teach is through online. I have a drawing touch screen tablet, which would be done through a screen share. I know a lot of people use the mouse to draw which is ugly, but I use a pen which just makes the whole process smoother for the student. I am able to prepare lessons effectively and will give reports to parents of how they’ve performed in a lesson, what they need to work on next and how we can do that.

| Hi! I'm a final year student at the University of Leeds studying Spanish and Linguistics. I have been learning Spanish and English (language and literature) for 11 years and have expert knowledge in the best ways to get the most out of your studying hours. I've done all the GCSE and A-level exams so know exactly what practice you need to do to make sure you feel totally prepared when you go into the exam room (or online, who knows!) I have just spent a year living and working in Spain, teaching in a school and tutoring privately in both Spanish and English. I have all the experience necessary to guide you through the beautiful process of language learning and give you the invaluable tools that will help you excel in your exams and all aspects of life and higher education/work. | I’ve always loved English And am pursuing it at University level in hopes of becoming a writer. I have previous tutoring experience and am hoping to challenge myself and help students preparing for their GCSE exams or A level exams. I was awarded an A* in GCSE English and an A at A-Level, so am qualified and happy to help. In my free time I also enjoy drawing and love animals, so I welcome students with pets. | Having just graduated with a 1st class degree from the University of Leeds, I am looking to help students improve their English and Literature skills. In particular I can offer tutoring in preparation for English Literature GCSE and English Literature A-Level and for Year 7, 8 and 9 English. I am passionate about making novels and literature accessible and fun and helping students convey their own passions and intelligence through their essays and homework. Help will be given firstly on understanding texts before a personalised approach to teaching essay writing skills. I am flexible with location, and can travel in Leeds and the surrounding areas to meet where suits you.

| My previous experience with GCSE and A-Level students is within English Literature mainly, and as a mentor. Studying English Literature to Master's Level has given me a strong grasp on the analytical skills, critical thinking and techniques for close reading that underpin successful writing in this subject. I'm willing to really take the time to work through a students' exemplar work with them to make room for improvements, as according to their own exam board's grade specifications. I am also open to supporting a student with English Language up to GCSE, as this the level to which I have had previous experience mentoring and supporting students with their work (I also studied it up to GCSE level). I am passionate about the subject, but more importantly I'm passionate about people, and have an approachable, relatable and encouraging attitude that can help you improve your responses, essays and exam techniques, which is why I've signed up to offer to tutor during the pandemic.
