My experience in the field of special needs covers the majority of my career, through voluntary work, private sector, NHS and agency. I have worked across a broad spectrum of disability and ages.
I qualified in 1991 as a nurse (RNMH) following which I worked as a Staff Nurse for 12yrs, after which for personal reasons I let my registration lapse.
Most recently I have been working as a Home carer for local agencies providing services to people within their homes and communities.
I enjoy assisting people in maintaining their independence and a qualitative life for as long as they are able.
