Special Needs Care in Colwyn Bay

| I have been studying learning disability nursing and social work for the last three years and I am very passionate about my job. I have had placements and paid jobs in various sectors so I have experience with lots of services, disabilities, and communication difficulties. I currently work in the children and adolescents mental health service. I am positive and bubbly, professional, and like to support people to live the life they want to live. I have worked with people of all ages, babies, children, teens, adults and older people. I am looking for babysitting jobs and am available evenings and weekends mostly.

| Being in my current job for 18.5 years, i support individuals who have various mental health needs, I have gained a level 3 diploma in health and social care, a level 3 Nvq in promoting independence, am up to date on all training required. I have gained experience in many duties which are included in my role. Medication ordering, auditing and administration, housekeeping duties, administration. Support and motivation in daily activities. I have an calm and organized, able to deal with situations using my own initiative. I feel I could use my skills and training in wider areas than in a residential setting.

| I have 1 year experience of being a support worker. I have worked with people who have epilepsy, learning disabilities, Tiberius sclerosis, physical disabilities and challenging behaviour. I am very calm in situations and I am very patient. I have had training for buccal, epilepsy and RESPECTS training. I also have my NVQ level 2 in health and social care.
