Special Needs Care in Leyland

| I have worked within the care setting since leaving school in 2003. I did NVQ 2 and 3 in health and social care and progressed and did my learning disability nurse training 10 years ago. I have worked in various settings such as: individuals homes, nursing homes, hospitals , residential homes, secure hospitals. I have worked with people that are independent and also people that are more profound and that are hoisted and are non - verbal. I have experience in LD, MH , neurological and terminal illnesses.

| I have around 30 years experience covering , Autism, epilepsy, children 12 plus with complex needs and the elderly. I have level 3 , 4 and registered Managers Award Nvqs. I have an enhanced dbs, car business insurance and public liability insurance. All training is up to date : Medication, moving / handling / peg training etc I worked as an activities co ordinator for many years and I am very passionate about being person centred . I love animals , being outdoors , reading , Arts / crafts , cooking and many more.
