Special Needs Care in Lytham St Annes

| Hi I'm Rebecca. I have worked with many different children and young people, with varying abilities, since I was 16 years old. I have a lot of experience in different areas, including PEG feeding, tracheostomy and venting, severe brain injuries and cerebral palsy. I have also worked as an au pair and I am currently a live in carer in France. I enjoy working in family and social environments as well as 1:1. I enjoy promoting inclusive and sensory play. I have also worked with children that have different social needs, (for example child carers and children with challenging home lives) in holiday camp settings and classroom environments. I have a degree in Drama and have worked in seasonal children's entertainment. I think that the skills I acquired from both have helped me to create a good rapport with people of all ages. I am a family oriented person and enjoy spending time with my 4 year old Godson. I have regular training through my current employer, including safeguarding children and vulnerable adults, first aid and medication administration. I have full DBS clearance and take pride in my work. I love new experiences and challenges, and I am always willing to learn.

| I have 9 years experience working with individuals that have learning disabilities, physical disabilities and autism of all ages. I hold my level 3 in health and social care and have a clean dbs. I am currently completing my teaching assistant course which is on Wednesdays to enable me to get into a school supporting those with extra needs on a 1-1 basis.
