Experienced nanny, childminder and support worker for special needs
|
I have worked as an au-pair in Spain with two families, caring for three children, aged 2-12. Whilst living in Spain I also provided classes outside of school to help children with English (aged 11-14).
I have worked in a number of SEN schools as an assistant, mainly with KS1 students. I have also worked very briefly (work experience) in a nursery, assisting with the babies, keeping them clean, fed and entertained.
My current childcare role is a nanny for a 1 year old girl. The hours are often long and have included travel - I am always open to fitting in with the various demands of family life. I see my role as providing love, security, fun - supporting parents in whatever way suits them and their children.
I pride myself on being punctual and reliable, I love to have fun and am very creative; I studied textile design at university.
Aside from my work experience, I have plenty of personal experience with children as I played a huge role in helping to bring up my siblings. I would consider myself a natural when it comes to the care of young ones!
