Health care support worker and student LD nurse

I have been a support worker for people with learning disabilities, autism and epilepsy with physical disabilities for 4 years. In this role I handled mediation, health appointments, took individuals to their daily activities and supported them with different aspects of their life. During this role I was nominated for an award for my work in the national learning disabilities and autism awards, I have also been in interviews around the work I did during coronavirus and working with vulnerable adults. For the last 2 years I have worked as a health care support worker in a mental health hospital. This challenging job has allowed me to face difficult situations. I have also just started my Learning Disability Nursing degree in university. I feel that I am a hard working, positive individual who wants to help others to live their life to the fullest. I have taken various training courses, regular DBS’, and currently working towards another qualification in PBS. I have had plenty experience with all ages and disabilities or mental health conditions. I am a punctual individuals who completes all tasks with maximum effort.
