| Hello! I am a nineteen year old student currently in my second year of studying Zoology at Glasgow. I grew up with my family cats and dogs, and I got my first very own pet when I was about twelve- a hamster who lived to the very ripe age of three and a half! When I got to high school my parents agreed that I could get my own dog if I put forward my savings (at the time, about £30), and I’ve had Skye- a border collie- ever since. I took great pride in teaching her as many different tricks and commands that I could think of, and we even did dog agility together for a couple of years. I also have a lot of experience caring for animals outside of my home. For two years in high school I volunteered at a small holding and dog boarding centre near my home. Here I walked the dogs (about ten at once), fed them, and did routine checks of all paws, fur and gums. More recently, I volunteered at a bird of prey sanctuary over the summer. Here I did a lot of cleaning tasks but also helped out in flying shows and learned a lot about the bird care. I’m currently at university full-time, but all my classes are still online so I am pretty much available at any time.

A dental postgraduate by brain and a dog lover at heart!
| Hello there! I am a dental postgraduate student who is very compassionate about dogs. I have a golden retriever back home in india who is 3 years old. I have taken care of pets belonging to friends and family back home for fun, so i figured due to my schedule of not being able to do a 9 to 5 job, i would rather take up a job that makes me both happy and content while giving me a bit of pocket money to work with. So rest assured, i have ample experience to take care of a puppy, train him/her with basic tricks, administer medicine's, take them for walks, bathe them, feed them and give them a basic grooming. Since i am a student i cannot do personal home sitting for dogs due to the space constriction. But i am willing to travel whenever need arises.Additionally i stay in the city centre so travelling is not a problem if you are around the city centre.

Over 20 years of experience with caring and building strong connections with our furry best friends
| I am a student and I live permanently in Glasgow since 2014. I have been sharing my life with dogs and cats since childhood and I always enjoy spending time with them. I have also taken care of other animals such as ducks, fish, bunnies and hamsters. I have taken care of many of my friend's and family's pets when needed and I have also worked as a dog walker for Cobrelius Project; a dog training organization in Thessaloniki, Greece led by Virginia Tsigara and got excellent reviews. The only reason I don't have pets right now is the fact that they are not allowed in the property I live in. I really miss the special connection I used to share with my pets and I'd love to do this as a job as much as possible in my spare time. I also enjoy a lot of walking and having playful activities; things that are essential for keeping dogs healthy, fit and happy. To me, it is never hard work when you love what you're doing.

Friendly, local and professional dog walker.
| Hi there! My name is Rachel and I am the owner of Southside Glasgow Dog Walking. I am an experienced dog walker in the southside of Glasgow. I offer a range of services that can be tailored to meet the needs of your furry friends. I am fully insured, disclosure checked and have completed CPD accredited courses in Dog Training and Pet CPR and First Aid. About the walks: I walk dogs in local parks in Glasgow's southside including Queens Park, Lynn Park and Pollok Country Park. This ensures the dogs are walked somewhere familiar to them, although I alternate routes regularly to keep things new. I do not use a car or van to collect the dogs in order to minimise any stress or anxiety to the dogs. Group walks will have a maximum of 4 dogs and individual walks are also available. I offer a free consultation so that the walks can be adjusted to meet the needs of your pup.

Dog lover looking for dog sitting jobs
| Hi I’m Ellie, a student from Glasgow. I have recently moved out of my family home and miss my dogs a lot. I grew up with animals especially dogs and have always had a connection and deep love for them. Unfortunately I cannot have one of my own as of yet due to being a student but I would love to be able to help care for yours with ease and peace of mind. I am very outdoorsy and love exploring. I enjoy hikes, if your dog needs a little extra exercise but of course, a cozy night and a cuddle on the couch is much needed afterwards. I always put the needs and comfort of the dog first, I adjust my routes, pace and guidance to the dogs needs. I am considerate when in people’s homes and respect peoples spaces. I have dog sat in the past with friends and family and want to expand to others.

Dog lover, WFH have plenty of time for pets!
| Hi! My husband and I both work from home so we have plenty of time to take care and accompany your pet. We barely leave pets alone at home. My daily routine with a dog includes one walk in the morning, potty breaks at lunchtime and in the afternoon, one before bedtime (usually after 11 p.m.), and a long walk around 5 p.m. On Saturdays, my husband and I often take a train to a nature spot for hiking, and we’d love to have some furry company! My schedule is pretty flexible, so please let me know what works best for your pet, and I’ll do my best to accommodate. We live in a flat with one bedroom and a living room/kitchen, which might be a bit small for a big dog. Therefore, I usually only take one pet or two small pets from the same family at a time. The apartment is thoroughly cleaned after each pet’s stay. We live in a quiet residential area with a few community parks just a few minutes away, where I usually take dogs for potty breaks. For longer daily walks, our options include Victoria Park, Riverside Walk, Kelvingrove Park, and the Botanic Gardens. On weekends, we often take a train for a hike or longer walk in nature. I will make sure to send regular updates and pictures to ease your concerns. :)

Meet Ari: cheerful & responsible pet owner looking to spend some more quality time with animals.
| Be it cats, dogs, or other pets please let me know if you'd like a friendly & kind animal lover to help you care for them! I grew up with Newfoundland dogs & was their primary trainer & carer - everything from daily walks & meals, obedience & advanced training, grooming, to administering medications. I've also fostered other dogs, helping to socialize & train them while they waited for their forever families. I currently dogsit for friends & love taking their little Havanese on walks in the park, but I miss having more regular dog time in my life. I hope I can help care for yours! I'm currently the proud cat-mom of a very sweet Siamese (Milo). He is my first, but he's taught me so much in the last 2.5 years, & I've cat-sat for several neighbors in the past. I've had him since he was a kitten, and we do lots of varied play to keep him active & engaged. We've also done a lot of training from basic commands like "Sit" & "Twirl" to more advanced like learning appropriate non-destructive scratching places, and "Quiet" -- quite a feat for a chatty Siamese! I'd love to meet your cats & learn more from their different personalities. Sorry for only sending a profile, but there is a cost to message directly. Hope to hear from you!
