| I am a freelance artist working as a part time teaching assistant with a flexible timetable. I love animals and come from the countryside as well as a family who owned dog kennels, trained dogs and bred dogs, winning many awards with Tibetan Spaniel shows dogs, so I am very experienced with all farm animals and especially dogs and cats. In the past five years I’ve been regularly cat and dog sitting for friends for extended periods (between 1 - 6 weeks). I also adopted a cat called Momo for a year whilst my friends were living in India but she has gone back now. I am a sensitive sitter and understand that animals all have different characters, wants and needs. I am used to taking care of a cat that has quite a lots of meds as she has an over active thyroid and a few other medical needs so I am experienced in administering meds. I spend time with the animals as a companion as I understand when their owners are away some can feel lonely and a bit confused as to where everyone has gone. I adore animals and you can go away with full trust and assurance that your pet is in the best hands :).

| I had a budgie when I was growing up. It lived 10 happy years. I have 2 cats, been taking care of them for the last two years. I did took care of my friend’s cat and poodle (medium size) whilst i had my cats, in the same house. (I know crazy!) 4 years ago i took care of another friend’s cat and pomegranian for 3 monhts (visited, walked, played spent time together, fed) . i also pet sitted another friend’s cat for a week, did pretty much the same. A friend of mine who is a dog trainer (which i have learned a lot from) has 3 dogs so i get to hang out with them walk with them a lot. So i also know my way around dogs like cats.
