| Hello, I am a reliable and hardworking lady who strives to deliver the best care possible. I have a kind and generous heart, an easy smile and remain calm and professional at all times. I'm very good working alone but am also comfortable and enjoy working within a family home. I have always built excellent relationships with my clients and their family and look forward to continuing to do so.

| I have spent the last five months looking after my mother in law who had become terminally ill, although I have cared for other family members and appreciate the need for people to be cared for with respect and dignity. I happily gave up my employment to look after my mother in law . I am an ex Nurse. My nursing experience was over 30 years, I Have worked as a Practice sister in GP practices in Bath, where I specialized in Diabetes but of course covered clinics in General medicine. My recent work history has been working in Pharmaceutical companies carrying out Audit and heart failure sessions over all of the UK. I would now like to come back into care . The time spent looking after my family has reaffirmed my belief in giving good care and stimulating clients making this a mutually beneficial relationship.

| My skills include; personal care, medication administration as instructed, housekeeping,assisting with shower or strip wash,hair washing.

| I have worked in care for 15 years, both in care homes and also in people's own homes. I was a live in carer for six years and most recently I worked as a care manager for a domiciliary and live in care company for the last 3 years and studied for my Level 5 in Health & Social Care, which I've just recently completed. I am a empathetic and compassionate person and I enjoy caring for people because I like to make a difference in their lives by ensuring that they always receive care that is person-centred and tailored to their individual needs. I always make sure that anybody that I am providing care for is treated with dignity and respect. Having been a carer for several years, I am familiar with many health conditions and I'm also competent in all aspects of care from personal care to catheter and continence care including stoma care, supporting with medications, hoisting, use of stand aids and/or other moving and handling equipment. I'm very flexible and adaptable in my approach as I like to ensure that my clients feel comfortable and that they are receiving care in the way the best supports their needs.
