| I have accumulated nine years of experience in the care industry, working across settings including care homes, hospitals, and most recently as a domiciliary carer for the past two years. Additionally, I have provided private care on weekends. I am deeply committed to providing compassionate and attentive care, consistently striving to enhance the well-being and quality of life for those I support. I take pride in going above and beyond to meet the needs of my clients. Building meaningful relationships with those in my care has been one of the most rewarding aspects of my career. Unfortunately, I had to take a break from work over a year ago due to a cancer diagnosis. However, having successfully completed my treatment, I am eager to return to the field I am passionate about. As a mother of two young boys who are in school during the day, I am looking to dedicate my time to meaningful work that allows me to make a positive impact. I offer a wide range of services including companionship, personal care (such as bathing and dressing) housekeeping, dog walking, meal preparation, shopping, and assistance with appointments. I am also open to expanding my skill set to accommodate any additional needs that may arise.

I do not have any experience but I am a very caring person. I would like to help someone out if needed, from a cup of tea to doing the shopping or taking you out.

| I have worked with downsyndrome, autistic, epilepsy, dementia, have done domiciliary care. I have 2 downsyndrome brothers and another on the autistic spectrum. I have 5 grown up children of my own and 2 grandsons. I am a capable and outgoing person and I take pride in my work.

| Over 30 years experience in providing care I have attended courses relating to care and management. I have an up to date DBS and registered with the update service. Comfortable working in one to one situations and as part of a team. For the last 7 years I have been working as a team leader with a client who has an acquired Brain Injury within my role I work with Therapists, Family, legal teams and other professionals. I am responsible for completing care plans, risk assessments and guidelines. I am very passionate about providing the tools and motivation to enable clients and have a strong belief that every small step a client makes is the greatest leap to fulfilment. I am dedicated to making a real difference to a person’s life striving to motivate and support clients to reach their full potential. I have worked in the social care sector for over 35 years, after working as a support worker in a residential settings with elderly clients presenting with Alzheimer’s/ dementia within this role I worked in various sectors including learning disabilities, mental health, led and supported teams in providing high standards of care, person centered planning that provided the best outcomes possible.

I have experience looking after the elderly or disabled in their own homes. Experience with dementia, strokes, incontinence, bed bound, deaf and blind. Cleaning, shopping, taking people out, dog walking. Residential homes shift work. Have NVQ2 certificate, moving and handling and First Aid.
