Elderly Care in Ards

| As a carer for the elderly, my duties may include: - Assisting with daily activities such as dressing, and grooming - Providing medication reminders and managing their medication schedule - Assisting with meal preparation and ensuring proper nutrition - Helping with mobility and physical exercises - Providing companionship and emotional support - Monitoring health and reporting any changes to medical professionals - Assisting with household tasks such as cleaning and laundry - Arranging and accompanying to medical appointments or social outings - Ensuring safety and well-being at all times.

| I am out going person I am hard working Willing to learn Like meeting new people I have worked in a care home in newtownards for 3 months, I worked in a care agency for 3 months, I recently started working in a care home in Donaghadee, I also cared for my grandmother who had dementia I looked after her for 3 years.. I have experience of personal care (washing, dressing etc). I have animals off my own which include dogs, cats, geese, pigs etc.. only problem sacred off birds.

| I have a natural experience and insight of caring for other as I grew up with my mother and grandmother both doing this, not just as a job but for extra support for people in our community also.. From as young as I can remember I would be there which has gave me experience into what it takes to cater peoples needs and give emotional support and see how small things can make big changes to people's lives in the most positive way. I myself took a different path and was a personal cleaner for 6 years co-owning a small business but most of my clientele where elderly that I knew most of my life and I love doing the extra things they needed to make their lives that little bit easier. This is something I have always been passionate about and have decided to take this up full time.

| I am Joseph from Philippines, a filipino loving to take care of eldery,, compassion and patience. Care is about closeness, the joy of supporting others to live independently, giving and helping people find peace at the end of their lives hardworking.

| Worked as a community carer, as well as cared for elderly relations, experience of elderly care needs, assisting with poor mobility, awareness and experience in helping people with dementia. Happy to discuss your needs and tailor accordingly.

| I have received extensive Dementia Awareness Training (2016 & 2018) in my previous jobs as I worked with Seniors community groups (including The Link N'Ards) on arts and film projects some of whom were living with dementia. I was also the main carer for my father when he was in his 80's who sadly passed away in 2017. Though I am not a medical professional have a full First Aid at Work certificate. I am recently semi retired and enjoy helping people and doing home help like cooking, cleaning etc.

| I have been working in care since 2015, all types of caring experience from support work to palliative care. Happy to provide personal care or help around the home, including shopping.

| I'm very passionate about senior care, kind, caring, calm and very patient and empathetic. I'm able to provide both physical and emotional support, help with meal preparation, medication reminders, bathing and dressing, bathroom assistance, companion care. I like caring for seniors because I feel they need our help and understanding more than anyone else.
