| I have 7 years experience in care work both in care homes and care at home. I recently went self employed as a private care giver. I have some availability for morning/lunch/evening and weekends visits I can assist with personal care, food preparation, shopping, outings, light house work, washing clothes etc please don't hesitate to ask for any more information.

| I have 18 months (and ongoing) of experience working with people with physical disabilities and learning disabilities. In this role I provide all levels of personal care - washing, dressing, toileting etc. I provide support with all aspects of daily living including housekeeping, administering medication, shopping, booking and accompanying clients to medical appointments and supporting with the handling of finances. I am medication trained, have basic life support and first aid training and have completed my care certificate. I am looking at beginning my Level 3 in Health and Social Care. I consider myself to be a caring, considerate, proactive and conscientious support worker/carer and pride myself on my ability to be able to build a rapport with most people I come in to contact with. I enjoy being able to support other people to live their very best life. I put a lot of importance in allowing clients to maintain any independence they have and to keep hold of their individuality.

| I have recently gained my level 5 NVQ in health and social care and I have worked in care for 14 years in a variety of settings supporting a variety of clients. My latest employment specialised In elderly care in which I trained and supported new staff joining the company. This included supporting with completing the care certificate and working towards the Care Quality Commission Regulations. When supporting clients my focus was delivering person centered care, and supporting with remaining as independent as possible. I have supported with a wide variety of tasks which include personal care needs, moving and handling needs, companionship, housekeeping duties and hold a current enhanced DBS.

I’ve worked in health and social care for 20 years as a carer and at various management positions, in the community and care homes. I’m currently employed and work for a nationally recognised care organisation but find that my to day job does not always give me the same hands on approach that I feel I’m good at. I’ve cared for individuals with various needs and requirements and whilst I can only offer a few hours a week, I believe I have the ability to offer somebody locally, an outstanding service. I have in-depth experience of the practical skills when caring for individuals as well as the underpinning knowledge of the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act and CQC regulations to ensure I conduct myself in line with the legal framework. I have a current enhanced DBS, mandatory training courses in date, qualification in health and social care and a level 5 diploma in leadership and management.

| I have a wealth of experience in elderly and disabled care after working live-in for 10 years travelling the length and breadth of the UK including Scotland. I am more than happy to help in all aspects of care and am well educated with a great deal of knowledge and interests. I don't drive so i am looking for work that is close to home (Honiton) or in the radius that i can travel to. Exeter and Taunton can be travelled to although Taunton would mean I'm only available between 10am and 4pm unless you'd like a sleeping service for your relative or live-in care. Live-in option is available at £100 per day.
