I have recently gained my level 5 NVQ in health and social care and I have worked in care for 14 years in a variety of settings supporting a variety of clients. My latest employment specialised In elderly care in which I trained and supported new staff joining the company. This included supporting with completing the care certificate and working towards the Care Quality Commission Regulations. When supporting clients my focus was delivering person centered care, and supporting with remaining as independent as possible. I have supported with a wide variety of tasks which include personal care needs, moving and handling needs, companionship, housekeeping duties and hold a current enhanced DBS.
