A support worker who loves working with vulnerable people
|
Hello
My name is Jane and I have been a support worker for 20 years. My expertise is working with the elderly, young people and vulnerable adults; especially individuals who have learning disabilities and severe mental health conditions. Some of the conditions I have worked with include Alzheimer’s, dementia, visual impairments, terminal illnesses, eating disorders, deafness, stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, anxiety, cancer, autism, learning disabilities, physical disabilities, HIV, orthopedic injuries, COPD, diabetes, and ADHD etc.
This has given me an excellent understanding of the issues faced by those who are vulnerable. I am polite, patient and hard working. I believe my job is to assist my clients so that they reach their full potential by providing the necessary assistance to the best of my ability. I also believe in treating others as I would want to be treated.
I’m available Sunday to Thursday to work night shifts only.
In my spare time I enjoy driving, watching movies, cooking, swimming, going to church, reading, listening to music and dancing.
