Elderly Care in Fleetwood

| My name is Gemma and I believe that time is the most important element in care. I have over 10 years experience in looking after older people, I hold a diploma level 3 in care. I am happy to help with/do light housework, shopping, meal prep, animal care, companionship and assisting with personal care. This list is not exhaustive. Please contact me for more information. I also offer a visiting service where I will visit clients who are in care homes/hospital. I hold relevant insurance and can provide references.

| Hi I love at home with my husband and my animals, I currently work with any agency going around there homes to care for them this entails lots of different care E.G. Personal care, shopping, companionship, I love my work and been caring nearly what seems nearly all my life even before I have had my 3 boys but they are all grown up now I would love to here from you soon then we can have a chat over a cup of tea or coffee

| I’ve worked in care since 18, I cared solely for my Nan since the age of 11, that is when I knew this was my calling in life. I’ve recently left my job with a large care company because of the lack of care and speed of care the provide and expect. I treat every client as one of my own family and am passionate about keeping people as independent for as long as possible. I’ve experience is dementia care, end of life/ palliative, also Reablement. I have training in personal care, medication, moving into and handling. I’m passionate, and trustworthy and always for fill my duties to the best of my abilities and aim to always go above and beyond.

| I set this small service up as i have 2 children who have cystic fibrosis and one with mental health issues and wanted to be close to the kids if they need me or if anything went wrong. I love looking after people i first started in this when i was about 10 and i loved talking to them and spending time with them. I have been a carer since 2004 I have my NVQ3 and other certificates. I would like this service to grow over time. I don't drive at the moment so I am only based in Fleetwood. I am honest reliable caring and professional and I love what I do.

| I am devoted to the people I care about. My smile makes me feel like I'm useful to them. I am calm, even in stressful situations or irritable elderly people or restless children. I take care of all household chores, such as buying groceries, cleaning the house or helping with personal hygiene.
