Dementia Care Dunfermline

| I used to be a nurse, then I changed carrier. I worked as a carer in the UK for two years. Now I have an office job but I enjoy helping people and are highly skilled even with people with dementia. I always had positive feedback from the people I looked after. My availability is evening, weekend or on occasion early morning between 7am-8am.

| A reliable and highly dependable person with good interpersonal skills is looking for a local job in the care sector. With four years experience in elderly care which includes Alzheimer’s, Dementia, Stroke and Parkinson’s. Self driven and welcomes new challenges. Works well independently or with other professionals. SVQ2 Care qualified, a Higher in Nursing Access and mental heath first aid certified. HNC in Social Services (2021) PVG member. •Ability to show empathy and understanding to people of all ages involving spending time talking, listening to those who are in need of re-assurance and support; •Possess the physical and mental stamina required to cope with dependant individuals and those whose behaviour is affected by their age, illness or anxiety; •Works to high ethical standards particularly in relation to the empowerment of individuals, enabling them to maintain dignity and a sense of control over their own lives despite their situation; •Strong medical and health care knowledge including the ability to appropriately refer to other relevant professionals in the interests of progressing and/or improving an individual’s situation.

| I have 40yrs of working and managing in physical and learning disabilities at present i am working With clients with Alzheimer's and dementia

| I do not have qualifications in working with the elderly but my dad has dementia and have helped my mum to care for him. I work full time i Education as a nurture lead supporting children, familes and School staff with children with additional needs.
