Dementia Care Bridlington

| I love to care , have a caring nature ,compassionate. I have level 2 and 3 in Health and Social Care . Dementia is my passion , I have a good knowledge in this field and always willing to learn more . I started out training to be a nurse but before starting had tried out EMI care . Nothing in nursing compared to dementia. I have been working as a senior carer / acting manager for small home , then tried support work . I would prefer to work with few individuals giving a top rate standard of care , more like family . Hourly rate negotiable.

| My name is Tracy. I am 55 years old. I live in Bridlington. I have worked in care and support work for over 25 years. I have an up to date DBS on the update service. I have worked in residential, nursing and dementia homes as part of a team and also as a 1:1 carer for a lady with dementia. I worked 12-14 hour days or nights. I have a level 3 diploma in care. I absolutely love working with the elderly. It is a very rewarding role. I treat all my clients with respect and dignity, as if they were my own family and have often gone above and beyond my role.

| I am a qualified mental health and learning disability nurse, I've been nursing for over 40 year's, I have a vast knowledge and experience with the elderly including dementia and other health issues, I have indemnity insurance, references and an up to date DBS certificate

| I have been involved in caring for over 35 years,since qualifying as a nurse,I have met soo many amazing people over this time,I've been honoured to care ###.### really specialised with the #######...## more experienced in life,as I like to say!.I have much experience with dementia, parkinsons,PSP,end of life ####..### much more.I am kind,patient and empathic and treat everyone as an individual. I promote person centred care and pride myself in this.I write care plans to reflect this,I'm very familiar with mental capacity and DOLs,doing many assessments weekly.

| I'm very passionate about delivering patient centred care. I've been a nurse for over 30 yrs,but love the actual "hands on" care side of it best,sitting with people in their last hours ,supporting with all types of cognition problems,dementia,parkinsons,psp,stroke etc,providing personal/incontinence care. Providing emotional support to both the person and their family.
